Every child grows and develops at an individual speed. In this article, you can find milestones babies generally achieving at 5 years old:

During this years, kids need lots of understanding, good nutrition, and loving relationships with parents.

1. PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT:
• May start skipping day nap. In this case baby need to sleep 11-12 hours night.
• May be able to somersault
• Uses scissors
• Hops or stands on one foot for about 10 seconds
• Can swing on swingset
• Goes to the bathroom in the toilet

2. LANGUAGE:
• Can answer questions about stories
• Recites nursery rhymes or sings songs
• May tell stories that stay on track
• Can say his/parents name and address

3. SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL:
• Can tell the difference between made-up and real
• Switches between being compliant and being defiant
• Sings, dances, and may play acting games
• Likes to play with friends
• Kid is award of his gender
• Understands the order of processes
• Can copy letters, numbers, shapes, etc
• Draws more complex “people”
